A World Record Challenge, July 4th at the English Bay Bathhouse, 1:30 PM
A Public Call to Participate – Vancouver’s Community Arts Workshop Society, producers of the 15th Annual Alice in Wonderland Festival invite you to join us for the spectacular Alices, Alices Everywhere! A World Record Challenge to bring together the Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Alice in Wonderland ever assembled.
If you ever had the desire to be Alice in Wonderland for the day, this is your opportunity. Come on down to English Bay on July 4, 2009 at 1:30 PM, when Vancouver’s Community Arts Workshop will host the largest gathering of Alices ever amassed in one place.
Folks of all shapes and sizes, genders and ages are invited to don the Alice blue pinafore costume and camp it up for the official Alice Group Photo. Dress up yourself, your kids, your granny or your favorite pet.
The Mad Hatter himself, Dan Vie, his Wonderland friends and members of The Carnival Band will be on hand to direct activities and keep a dance beat. This challenge will be documented. We have applied to the Guinness Book of World Records for inclusion.
